What is St. Mary's Youth Ministry? St. Mary's Youth Ministry (SMYM) is every effort by the Christian community of St. Mary's Church to reach out to youth with the love of God as revealed to us in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. The entire parish does youth ministry by caring for its young people and welcoming them into every aspect of parish life.
Why do we need to minister to young people?
How does SMYM meet the needs of our young people?
When does SMYM meet? St. Mary's Peers as Leaders (SM Pals), our program for sixth to eighth graders, meets every other Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the John Paul II Youth Room. We have an Emmaus Family Mass with a reception for families on the first Sunday of each month between October and May in the Upper Church at 7:00 PM.
How do I contact the Youth Ministry Program? From time to time, we will add links to favorite youth oriented web sites.
