Father Szelest
Fr. Theodore Szelest passed away on Wednesday August 29th at about 4:30 AM while at
Englewood Hospital. We pray that he now stands around the altar on high with the Lord
and all who have served so faithfully.
On Thursday September 13th, we gathered as a community to remember and celebrate Fr. Szelest and his
60+ years ministering here at St. Mary's, his home. You can view an online remembrance of the events

Serving in Iraq
We want to ask the prayers of our parish for those serving in Iraq, especially if
they are members of St. Mary's or relatives of our parishioners. They are:

their names to the Lord, asking for His protection over them. If you have a relative
serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, please call the rectory so that we can add his/her name
and offer our prayers.
