On November 27, 2011, the English speaking Church in the USA began using a new translation of the prayers used at Mass (The Roman Missal).

Habitat for Humanity Trips on 2/25 and 3/31
St. Mary's will once again help build houses with Habitat for Humanity. This time we're heading to Paterson on Saturday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, March 31. These will be great service opportunities during our Lenten season. Spaces are limited. If interested, e-mail soltes25@msn.com or call 551-486-4367. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. The workday is 8AM to 4PM. No skills required.

Preparing for the Easter Season
On Monday February 13th at 7:15PM, we will burn palms from last year's Palm Sunday for use on Ash Wednesday, February 22nd.

We the Roman Catholic Community of St. Mary's, Dumont, celebrate with Our Lady of the Assumption, our life in Christ. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, annointed at our Baptism and united in the Eucharist, we answer God's call to discipleship. We do this by proclaiming God's word, gathering to praise and thank the Lord, being a welcoming community and serving the needs of all God's people. We strive to live the Gospel message, as we share God's love with all people. We recognize and find strength in our diversity as we rejoice in our unity as the Body of Christ.
