In our attempt to support those who are unemployed or underemployed in these extraordinary economic
times, St. Mary’s has established a new ministry - the St. Mary's Job Networking Ministry. Work is
a gift from God in which we are able to enrich ourselves, families, and the communities we belong.
As with any gifts from God when used in accordance with God’s Law work becomes a means to obtain
God’s graces. When our brothers and sisters experience a job lose it is all too easy for them to
become filled with despair. As a parish we are called to ease the despair of our brothers and
sisters through this difficult time of job transition.
St. Mary’s Job Networking Ministry is attempting to assist in a number of ways, we have created a network to share career advice and job leads. We currently meet every two weeks on Friday’s in the library next to the Religious Education Office. Please feel free to join us.
